Muscle Deficient Vegan (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by VeGAINS Fitness & Nutrition LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit muscledeficientvegan.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Email subscriptions and free e-books. When you subscribe to the newsletter or request a free download (such as the Lifting Cheat Sheet), we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name. We use this to deliver the download and send fitness and nutrition updates.
- Purchases. When you buy a product from our shop (such as the Fitness Jump Start e-book) or enroll in coaching, we collect your name, email address, and billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Coaching applications and intake. If you apply for online coaching, we ask for additional information needed to assess fit and deliver the service — such as your training history, fitness goals, dietary preferences, and relevant lifestyle details. Providing this information is voluntary, and it is used only to review your application and, if you enroll, to deliver your coaching program. The application may also ask about past or current injuries and physical limitations so that, if you enroll, your program can be adapted safely. Sharing these details is voluntary, and they are used only for your coaching. We treat all of this information as confidential and do not share it with third parties except the service platforms used to deliver coaching. Coaching is educational guidance, not medical care, and we do not request or collect medical records.
- Account information. If you create an account on our shop, we store your name, email address, and order history.
- Comments. When you leave a comment, we collect the name and email you provide, the content of your comment, and your IP address (used for spam detection). Your name and comment are displayed publicly; your email is not.
- Contact form. When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (deployed via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the Site — pages visited, time on page, approximate geographic region, device and browser type. This relies on cookies and similar identifiers.
- Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with pages through heatmaps and session replays (anonymized recordings of scrolling, clicking, and mouse movement). Clarity masks sensitive input fields by default. Data collected is governed by Microsoft’s privacy statement.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our content and any promotion we run on Meta platforms, and to understand the actions visitors take on the Site. Meta may associate this data with your Facebook/Instagram account under Meta’s privacy policy. You can manage how Meta uses this data in your Facebook ad preferences.
- Server logs and security. Our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically log IP addresses, browser types, and requested pages for security, debugging, and performance purposes.

Interactive tools
Tools on this Site, such as the TDEE Calculator, perform their calculations in your browser. We do not store the values you enter (such as height, weight, or age) on our servers, and we do not link them to your identity. Standard analytics (page views, time on page) still apply when you use tool pages.

Email Marketing
Our email list is managed through MailerLite. We send training and nutrition content, new article announcements, and occasional product offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate. We do not sell or rent our email list. MailerLite may track email opens and link clicks to help us understand what content subscribers find useful.
Embedded Content
Posts and pages on this Site may include embedded content (for example, YouTube videos or podcast players). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website directly — those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content, under their own privacy policies.
How Long We Keep Information
- Comments are kept indefinitely so discussion threads remain intact. You may request deletion at any time.
- Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes.
- Coaching application and intake data is kept for the duration of the coaching relationship plus a reasonable period afterward; you may request deletion at any time.
- Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe; unsubscribed contacts are suppressed or deleted per our email provider’s practices.
- Analytics data is retained per the configured retention periods of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale”/”sharing” of personal information
- Withdraw consent at any time (for cookies, use your browser settings; for email, use the unsubscribe link in any message)
- Complain to your local data protection authority (for EU/UK visitors)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact page. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
For visitors in the EU/UK: We process your data on the legal bases of consent (cookies, marketing), contract (purchases, coaching delivery), and legitimate interests (security, basic site operation). This Site is operated from the United States, and your data is processed in the United States.
Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Coaching services are available only to adults 18 and over. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption, reputable hosting with security monitoring, and limited access to personal data. Coaching intake information is accessible only to your coach. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
